Q.   How long will it take to make my frame ?

A.    We like to allow 2 weeks but most jobs are completed in around a week.

Q.    Will I have to buy some string to hang my picture up ?

A.     No, you will collect your picture ready to hang on your wall with a cord or picture plates if you require a screw fixing, all included in the price.

Q.    How many styles of frames are there to choose from ?

A.     We show over 100 examples in the shop and can order from a range of over 1000 from our suppliers catalogues.

Q.    My picture is quite valuable do you frame to conservation standards ?

A.     Yes, this is becoming more important for the discerning collector to have their art framed to these standards, see the section on what we do.

Q.    What is your position on environmental issues ?

A.     We are in the hands of our suppliers for materials but most mouldings now come from sustainable sources and backing boards are from a recycled source, for our part scrap backings and wood mouldings are recycled at our local tip as is waste mountboard, our waste glass is also collected for recycling.

Q.    How much will it cost to frame my picture ?

A.     Well as you can imagine there are many variables such as the size, type of moulding you choose, whether it needs a single, double or no mount and and what type of glass such as non reflective or UV protective for example but we are happy to give you estimate when we discuss your requirments.

Q.    Do you take credit cards ?

A.    Yes we take all the major credit cards as well as cheques and good old cash.
